Dr. MacDonald is a native of North Carolina.  He received his undergraduate education at Duke University and his medical degree at the University of North Carolina. He completed his residency training at the University of North Carolina. Dr. MacDonald is certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, the American Academy of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery, and the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy.
